Report summary
Yemen is a mature oil province affected by civil war; its production peaked in 2002 at around 450,000 b/d and has declined since. Yemen has been in civil war since 2015, but violence and attacks disrupted production in preceding years. A wide-scale production shut-in occurred in 2015 after export terminals were closed. IOCs also chose to evacuate expat staff and suspend operations. The government maintained a low level of domestic production, before reopening an export terminal in 2016. ...
