The Gryphon Area is comprised of four fields: Gryphon, Maclure, Tullich and Ballindalloch. The grouping is located within the prolific Quadrant 9 in the UK Northern North Sea. Gryphon was discovered in 1985, Maclure in 1987, Tullich in 2001, and Ballindalloch in 2016.All fields were developed via the Gryphon FPSO, the first FPSO on the UK Continental Shelf (UKCS) at the time.
