Denbury announced plans to acquire Penn Virginia Corporation for an enterprise value of US$1.7 billion. Penn Virginia produced approximately 22,200 boe/d (Q2 2018) across a contiguous position of 84,060 net acres in the oil window of the Eagle Ford. The deal will be funded with US$400 million in cash and ~US$830 million in stock and is expected to close in Q1 2019.
