Report summary
The contract 1 Area, previously known as the Unocal 1 Contract Area, was the first offshore gas project in the Gulf of Thailand. Erawan, a large and complex gas/condensate field, was brought onstream in 1981 and has been developed via a central five-platform complex with more than 25 wellhead platforms. Gas from the Contract 1 Area is transported north to a terminal at Map Ta Phut through PTT's pipeline and onto southwestern Thailand via a pipeline to Khanom. The third Gulf of Thailand ...
