The Thai sector of the Malay Basin is a mature, gas-prone, shallow-water play located off the east coast of southern Thailand. Recent exploration has targeted small, near-field opportunities (<5 mmboe) around the basin's two major discoveries - bongkot (1973) and arthit (1999). this exploration basin report provides a detailed analysis of recent exploration and future expectations including discovery and development costs, maps and details of licensing and fiscal terms. we also evaluate the prospective resource volume and value potential. the report is accompanied by multiple excel downloads.>
