The mine is 200km south west of Ougadougou, the capital of Burkina Faso. The Endeavour owned Mana gold mine is contiguous and situated to the north of Yaramoko. Yaramoko is a high-grade 1.1kt/d mining operation and consists of two underground gold mines: the 55 Zone and Bagassi South. Longhole stoping with cemented rock fill is utilised as the primary mining method. Near surface mineral reserves at 55 Zone, outline the potential for open pit mining to supplement underground mining production and extend the mine life at 55 Zone. The plant is comprised of two-stage crushing, grinding, a gravity circuit, a carbon-in-leach circuit, electrowinning and smelting to produce a doré.
