Report summary
Clean TeQ is developing the Sunrise Nickel Cobalt Scandium Project in central NSW. The company has released an Project Execution Plan (PEP) in 2020 and is undertaking pre-construction works. According to Clean TeQ the PEP has assessed the economics of a large scale project producing battery grade nickel and cobalt sulphates with a view to supply the lithium ion battery industry. The company also expects to produce scandium-containing materials as a by-product. Clean TeQ plans to use its own Clean-iX (ion-exchange extraction and purification processing) technology at the site.
