Report summary
The South Kalgoorlie operations is centred on the old Jubilee 1.2Mtpa carbon-in-pulp plant. The operation is 100% owned by Northern Star Resources. The mine has stopped production due to high costs and lack of reserves, though the plant has been operating under toll milling agreements for third parties. Small and short duration open pits are planned to complement recommencement of HBJ underground mine production in 2015. The South Kalgoorlie (New Celebration) operations are now included in the Kalgoorlie Operations profile as Northern Star Resources reports the assets all together post-acquisition from Westgold.
