Pumpkin Hollow is a copper, gold and silver mine located close to the Anaconda mine, which was mined from 1918 to 1978. A technical report outlining three differing development options was released in October 2018. The options included a pre-feasibility study for a standalone underground mine (5kt/d), a Feasibility Study for a combined open-pit (63.5kt/d) and underground (6.5kt/d) mining operation, and a Preliminary Economic Assessment for standalone open pit operation (37kt/d, rising to 70kt/d). In the accompanying analysis, Wood Mackenzie assumes that the initial underground operation will ramp up to include the open pit portion of the mining operation. Commercial production is assumed in 2020.
