Report summary
Centerra owns 100% of the Kumtor gold mine through its wholly owned subsidiary Kumtor Gold Company. The Kyrgyz Republic holds 33% shares in Centerra through the state gold company KyrgyzAltyn.Mining is by conventional open pit methods. The process plant comprises a flotation concentrator, with reground pyrite concentrates and flotation tails leached in separate CIL circuits to recover gold. Design capacity of 4.8Mt/a has consistently been exceeded.
