Report summary
Natural graphite prices saw a mixed bag in June, with prices moves across the spectrum seen. Large-size flakes and amorphous graphite were positive during the month due to tighter domestic supply. In May, we highlighted the need for higher needle coke prices should OPEC+ extended production cuts - which they did. However, consumers have pushed back, leaving needle coke and graphite electrode prices relatively unchanged.
