Report summary
Plug-in EV sales are up 20% year-on-year, and EV penetration has returned to the highs last seen in December 2022, fuelled by incentives in North America and China. However, cathode and precursor demand remains weak due to destocking throughout the supply chain. Raw material prices continue to disappoint. Revised downwards from last month, there looks to be little upside.
