Report summary
Beihai Chengde is a joint venture of Guangxi Beibu Gulf International Ports Group and Foshan Chengde Special Steel Corporation, and it’s located in Linhai Industrial Park, Tieshangang, Beihai. Its annual capacity reaches 2.5 Mtpa of stainless steel slabs, 3 Mtpa of stainless steel hot-rolled coil, 1.8 Mtpa of stainless steel solid-solution coil, 1.2 Mtpa of stainless steel cold-rolled coil. Beihai Chengde is an integrated stainless mill with its own nickel pig iron smelters on site. Beihai Chengde currently runs 2 RKEF lines and 3 blast furnaces for NPI production in China, a total of 2Mtpa of NPI capacity. Carrascal Nickel Corporation in Philippine is the major laterite ore supplier to Beihai Chengde.
