The PT Nusantara Regas (NR), owned by PERTAMINA has built a 3.0 mmtpa floating regasification terminal in Jakarta Bay, with 125,000m3 of storage capacity. The facility is leased from Golar LNG partners on an 11-year deal with an option for an extension at the end of the charter period. Nusantara Regas picked Golar LNG as the FSRU provider in October 2010 and PT Rekayasa Industry as the EPC contractor for the pipeline infrastructure in December 2010.
