The October TTF reduced its discount to Northeast Asian DES, settling at around $12.2/mmbtu—an increase of nearly a dollar from the previous period. European fundamentals also tightened, mirroring the 2023 trend, with storage levels below 94%. Maintenance at Kollsnes and Nyhamna wrapped up over the weekend, but lingering unplanned summer disruptions continue to weigh on prices despite improving flows. Gassco flows are still below 275 mcmd, significantly lower than the 350 mcmd seen two months ago. Meanwhile, pipeline gas from Algeria has dropped due to Medgaz maintenance, potentially contributing to a rise in LNG exports.
