The week ending March 8 was the second coldest of the winter season, yet the wintery boost was only temporary, as forecasts are predicting a milder month ahead. Will this be the last triple digit withdrawal? It seems likely, and with smaller withdrawals thereafter, inventories look to end the season under 1.1 tcf, about 0.3 tcf lower than last year. Prices are focusing on the milder forecast, with the summer curve coming down from above $2.93/mmbtu highs, but we continue to watch for production to pick up its growth trajectory once again.
