Although the Hurricane Rafael failed to make US landfall, it did result in offshore GoM precautionary shut-ins. More large US gas production shut-ins are occurring due to very low November spot prices. We expect higher December prices and demand pull to unwind the shut-ins. This weekly natural gas commodity report seeks to explore: • When will withdrawal season start? • Where are US gas production shut-ins occurring? • Why is US LNG exports not ramping up?
