The Moomba CCS project is now operational. Santos and Beach Energy confirmed injection rates of up to 84 mmscf/d during commissioning, exceeding initial expectations. Initial performance of the five injector wells indicates total CO2 injection capacity greater than required to meet the project’s capture and storage target of 1.7 Mtpa.
