Vidhya joined Wood Mackenzie as principal analyst of the Gold Mine Costs team in 2022. She is responsible for leading coverage of gold costs and project development work, alongside generating industry-wide topical insights. She has over 10 years’ experience analysing the metals markets from both research and equities perspectives.
Prior to joining Wood Mackenzie, Vidhya spent ten years at sell-side equity research, with the most recent experience at HSBC (AVP, Metals and Mining) and subsequently as VP at Société Générale (M&M). There, she was responsible for research on multiple commodities across base, bulk and precious, as well as equities, primarily diversified majors. During her stint at HSBC, she also managed the regional Metals and Mining team.
