Mamta is Wood Mackenzie’s senior analyst for lithium, based in Gurugram, India. She joined Woodmac in 2022. In her role, she covers the lithium market. She is responsible for analysing and tracking the developments in the lithium industry, demand-supply forecasting, price modelling and forecasting. ​
Prior to Wood Mackenzie, Mamta worked in academia with a research and teaching experience of 7 years, focused on opencast mining. Her research entailed the restoration and slope stability analysis of overburden dumps in opencast mines
