Andrew joined Wood Mackenzie (then Brook Hunt) as a mining analyst in July 1995. Andrew is Head of Nickel Research and is the author of the Nickel Industry Cost Service, the Global Nickel and Intermediates Service and co-author of the Nickel Metal Service. Andrew has been covering the nickel industry for nearly 20 years. Prior to Wood Mackenzie, Andrew worked as a development metallurgist for Billiton and Johnson Matthey on both mineral processing and pyrometallurgy process development and optimisation. Andrew hold an honours degree in Mineral Processing Technology and a PhD from the Camborne School of Mines, UK.

Rory joined Wood Mackenzie in 2014 and is based in our New York Office During his time at Wood Mackenzie Rory has worked in the Zinc and Lead Mine Cost team based in London, delivering global analysis. He now works on Wood Mackenzie’s Metals and Mining Institutional Investor Service, providing support and cross-commodity research to our buyside clients. Rory holds a B.Sc in Economics from the University of Bath.

Pralabh Bhargava joined Wood Mackenzie in August 2015 in the coal research team focusing on Asia Pacific region. He is currently based in Singapore. Pralabh undertakes a detailed analysis of coal mining assets, including production modelling, cost estimation and valuations. He also conduct research on Indian sub-continent coal demand and keeps track of international coal market. In his previous role, Pralabh was working as a Specialist in the Energy team at Rio Tinto providing industry and market analysis for supporting business development and establishing marketing strategy. He has worked extensively in India’s coal, steel and power sectors, covering demand-supply modelling, infrastructure assessment and policy analysis. He joined Rio Tinto from KPMG where he was working as a commodity analyst covering more than ten hard commodities. Pralabh has a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours), a Chartered Accountancy from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and a Masters in Business Administration (Finance).

Janette joined Wood Mackenzie in August 2016 as a Senior Research Analyst on the Copper Mine Costs team, and is based in Guildford, UK. Prior to joining Wood Mackenzie, Janette was a member of the precious metals mining team at Thomson Reuters GFMS, contributing to the Gold Mine Economics and PGM Mine Economics services. Janette graduated from the University of Edinburgh with a PhD in Geochemistry, and is a CFA Charterholder.
